Club members converge to participate in structured interval workouts in a fun, supportive environment. We welcome runners to try out a workout or two for free before joining the club.

Tuesday, May 14th: San Diego State University Sports Deck: C: 8 x 400’s w/calisthenics between intervals B: Same A: Same
***Thursday, May 16th: *** NEW WORKOUT/NEW LOCATION *** Mission Bay: Warmup easy 1 mile jog + dynamic stretches & strides
Threshold Test, come ready to work! 20 minutes at fastest sustainable pace.
Cooldown with core work at finish.
Tuesday, May 21st: San Diego State University Sports Deck: C: 4 x 800 w/400 jog B: 5 x 800 w/400 jog A: 6 x 800 w/400 jog
***Thursday, May 23rd: *** NEW WORKOUT/NEW LOCATION ***Mission Bay: Warmup easy 1 mile jog + dynamic stretches & strides
Main set: Mile repeats 4-6 x 1 mile @ 105% of your goal HMP (half marathon pace) with 1/4-mile easy recovery jog between.
Cooldown 1-2 mile easy to finish.
Tuesday, May 28th: San Diego State University Sports Deck: C: 2 x 400/1 x Mile at marathon pace (400 jog between intervals) B: Same A: Same

October – June
From late fall until early June (when the end of the Rockin’ ‘n’ Runnin’ Training Program ends), we meet at the track for our workouts.
June – October
Our Metro SD workouts during the late-Spring/Summer months are at beautiful, historic Balboa Park. We meet on the grass near 6th Avenue at Nutmeg Street. You can’t miss us. Just look for the big group of people with short shorts and running shoes on!
